Board Vacancy - Applications Open
THE CITY OF VALLEJO SEEKS QUALIFIED APPLICANTS FOR THE GREATER VALLEJO RECREATION DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Greater Vallejo Recreation District (GVRD) Board Member – 1 vacancy. Directors shall take office at noon on the first Friday in December following their election of their appointment to a fixed term.
The District is governed by a 5-member board of directors, 3 of whom are appointed by the Vallejo City Council, with the other 2 appointed to serve by the Solano County Board of Supervisors. Board members serve 4-year terms. There will be a vacancy due to a term expiring early in December 2025. Interested Vallejo residents are encouraged to submit an application and supplemental questionnaire.

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must be residents of the City of Vallejo. Information regarding the duties of each board and commission, and specific criteria for appointment, may be found within each application.
The application period will remain open until 5 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2025.
Applicants must attend the interview to be considered for appointment. Applicant interview dates to be determined.
